I was disappointed in the computer only having 2 ports and even more upset when I found out I couldn't use 2 adapters side by side. The adapters were needed to attach my external hard drive and camera card reader to my new MacBook Air 2020 M1 chip computer. Maybe it's ok & I'm over-reacting it concerns me. 4-year old cable on left, new 4-week old cable on right. Maybe it's just more flexible but the old cable took years to show stress. The plastic sheathing of the cable shows more stress from twisting than the cable which originally came with my macbook pro. Reviewed in the United States on July 11, 2021 I will do what I should have in the beginning and just pay for the Apple one. I tried calling Amazon but they could only refer me to the manufacturer to try and get a refund, or if I paid the shipping they would send me a new one. I only used this cable twice, and it was never twisted or mishandled. This broke the day after the 30 day return window closed. The seller must have seen my review and sent a new cable - Tku! Hopefully this one holds up - appreciate the customer service.
